Wikipedia - Syrian League 1st Division

Syrian League 1st Division (Arabic: الدوري السوري الدرجة الأولى) is the second division in football in Syria. It is operated by the Syrian Football Association (SFA). The league started in the 1960s. After each season, the two top clubs are promoted to the Premier League. In the 2022–23 season, Al-Hurriya SC and Sahel SC won the title and were promoted to Premier League.

In 2023–24 season, the league consists of 27 clubs divided into a league based on their geographical distribution. However, the Promoted consists of 2 teams divided into league table.

Siria - Divizia 1 este cea mai importantă competiție de fotbal din Siria. A fost fondată în 1966 și este organizată de Federația Siriană de Fotbal. Campionatul este alcătuit din 16 echipe care joacă în sistem fiecare cu fiecare, în două tururi. Echipa care acumulează cele mai multe puncte la finalul sezonului este declarată campioană. Siria - Divizia 1 este una dintre cele mai competitive ligi de fotbal din Asia și a produs numeroși jucători talentați de-a lungul anilor.
