Wikipedia - Primera B de Chile

Campeonato Primera B (English: Chilean First B Division) is the second tier in the Chilean football league system, and is organized by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional. It was established in 1952 as Segunda División, and later renamed in 1996 to the current name. Since 1954, automatic promotion to and relegation from Campeonato Nacional has been granted, although Palestino and Rangers were promoted to the top flight in the first season.

Chile - Primera B este al doilea nivel al sistemului competițional de fotbal din Chile. Turneul a fost fondat în 1952 și este organizat de Federația de Fotbal din Chile (FFCH). Primera B este formată din 16 echipe care concurează pentru promovarea în Primera División, cel mai înalt nivel al fotbalului chilian. Echipele care termină pe ultimele două locuri sunt retrogradate în Segunda División, al treilea nivel al sistemului competițional de fotbal din Chile. Primera B este un turneu competitiv, cu mai multe echipe care au o istorie bogată și o bază de fani devotată. Santiago Wanderers, Cobreloa și Deportes Concepción sunt doar câteva dintre cluburile notabile care au concurat în Primera B.
